Raspberry-Ginger Smoothie

So health week coincided really well with my mother giving my nearly a kilo a various frozen berries she and my grandfather picked this summer. I decided, what better way to use them than to make smoothies? smoothie

Raspberries are full of antioxidants and minerals your body needs. But above that they are super high in vitamin C, so this smoothie is great way to start off your day or just to drink any time you’re feeling a bit low.

So this is a raspberry and blueberry smoothie, but these past couple of days I’ve also made loads with blackberries. Delicious!

To make a pitcher, you’ll need:
100 grams of frozen raspberries
A handful of frozen blueberries
1 banana
2 teaspoon of ginger sirup
1 teaspoon of finely grated coconut
5 dl(2.1 cups) of liquid. I used 1/3 orange juice and 2/3 water
2 tablespoons of pineapple juice.

Add all ingredients to a blender, whizz up for 2 minutes and serve!smoothie2

Garnish with grated coconut and a tiny bit of white chocolate.
